Dr. Kidwai attended medical school at King Edward College University of Punjab, 1987. Upon his graduation he followed up his training at St. Vincent's Med. Center/Yale Hospital, University of Missouri Health Center and Brigham & Women's/Harvard. Dr. Kidwai is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT Angiography and Intraoperative TEE. Dr. Kidwai is active at St. Anne's and Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He is the Medical Director of the Prima CARE, P.C. Cardiac Testing Department, which is the first in the area to have accreditation in both nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. In addition he also directs the Charlton Memorial Echocardiography lab. Dr. Kidwai was among the select few physicians to be honored with the prestigious 2011 Patient's Choice Award.
Sarah Bednarz is Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the office of Dr. Bianca Thorpe at Prima CARE. She is a native of southeastern Massachusetts and is dedicated to the health of her community. Ms. Bednarz began her medical career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Audiology Technician before earning a Bachelor of Science Degree at University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital and Hawthorn Medical Associates for several years before earning a Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (MCPHS). Ms. Bednarz cares for patients of all ages, focusing on wellness and preventive medicine as well as managing chronic and acute medical conditions. She sees outpatients in the office of Dr. Bianca Thorpe on the main Prima CARE campus and, as an affiliate of the Steward Health Care Network, admits her patients to Saint Anne’s Hospital.
Tara Blitz-Herbel is an experienced and Board-certified Podiatric Surgeon. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University at Albany (SUNY) and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Blitz-Herbel has practiced Podiatry in various settings in Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York and was an Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences and Surgery at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She is Board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has lectured on a wide range of topics in Podiatric Surgery and has contributed to the medical literature, serving as an Editor of the Clinics in Surgery-Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Blitz-Herbel is dedicated to the comfort, functional abilities, and quality of life of her patients. She sees patients in the Prima CARE Podiatry Division on the main Prima CARE campus in Fall River. As an affiliate of the Steward Health Care Network, she admits patients to Saint Anne’s Hospital, if necessary.
Dr. Callen is a graduate of the University of Lisboa Faculty of Medicine, Portugal. Upon graduating he followed up his post graduate training at Brown University's Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket, RI. Dr. Callen is board certified in Family Medicine. In addition, Dr. Callen serves as Medical Advisor to the Board of Health in the town of Westport, MA as well as the school physician for the Westport School Department. Dr. Callan is affiliated with Saint Anne's Hospital in Fall River.
